Nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, Laurel Ridge is one of the private NC mountain golf courses. Our private community is on the outskirts of Waynesville, North Carolina featuring one of the area’s most beautiful and challenging golf courses.

WE ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR GOLF! Tee times are required, 828-452-0545, x171 (Call for afternoon rates). Play Tuesday-Sunday, 8 am-5:30 pm or Mondays, 12-5:30 pm. Outside golf play is based on availability; however we reserve 9 am-12 for member play. We invite all our friends and neighbors in WNC to tee up for an extraordinary golf experience.
Our Golf Course
Built in 1986, the Laurel Ridge Mountain Golf Course displays the design genius of renowned golf course designer and architect, Bob Cupp. Striking a balance between challenge and playability, our Blue Ridge Mountain Golf Course plays 6,904 yards from the back tees with a slope rating of 146 and a course rating of 72.4.
The 18-hole championship golf course also features a driving range and two putting and chipping greens.
In North Carolina, golf players generally enjoy year-round pleasant weather. The temperature at our golf course averages 70° in the summer and 40° in the winter. Apart from the evergreen fairways (90% bentgrass and 10% bluegrass) and the undulating greens, the course has a wide variety of flowering plants that accompany the tree-lined fairways to make the scenery more vibrant and alive.
For ease of play and convenience, our members have access to golf club storage, as well as a bag drop station and snack bar. Laurel Ridge is also more accessible from the main highways compared to more secluded mountain country clubs in NC.

Tee Time Request
Our golf course, driving range and pro shop are open (weather permitting) Tuesday-Sunday, 8 am-5:30 pm and 12-5:30 on Monday. Winter hours vary November-April.
All after-hours tee time requests will be responded to by noon the following business day.

Private coolers are not permitted. All food and drink must be purchased on site from Laurel Ridge. Our Turn Window is open seasonally with hot dogs, sandwiches, buckets of beer and more! Golfers can also order lunch in the restaurant for dine-in or takeout based on availability. All other times, snacks and drinks are available in the Golf Shop.
