GOLF | LUNCH | DOG SHOW | TENNIS | POOL GAMES

9 am The day’s festivities begin on the Practice Green for a tribute to America with patriotic music followed by a fun GOLF SCRAMBLE. The Pro Shop will make the teams for this Mixed Team event featuring 6 holes Better Ball, 6 holes Scramble & 6 holes Shamble.
12:30 pm Lunch in the clubhouse will be served at 12:30-2:30 pm with hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, mac & cheese, potato salad, cole slaw, broccoli salad, watermelon & ice cream sundae bar for $20 incl. ($8 ages 7-12/6&U free). The lunch buffet is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

3 pm Back by popular demand, the Laurel Ridge Dog Show is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and free in the Pavilion at 3 pm. The event will include a dog parade, competitions, prizes and an obedience demo by Pawsitively Love Foundation & What’s Up Dog, an award-winning service dog trainer for veterans & victims of PTSD! ALSO- a Waynesville Police K-9 Unit demo showing us how the K-9 Units are trained to attack dangerous individuals.

Best Tail Wagger
Best Trick
Most Patriotic
Best Groomed
Pet/Owner Look Alike Contest
Junior Division (escorted by youth age 16 & under)
Overall Best of Show will be decided by silent ballot. The winning dog from each competition category will be eligible for overall honors. LRCC owners will make a donation to Friends of Haywood Co. Animal Shelter in the name of the Grand Champion and their owner in the amount of $2,500!

All members, guests, and dog lovers are invited to lunch in the clubhouse… bring the whole family!
