WATER AEROBICS: Exercising in the water can be highly beneficial and great fun! Join certified Aqua Aerobics Instructor Beth Elsy every Tuesday & Thursday this summer at 10 am in the pool! Cost for members is $10 payable to Beth.
PILATES MAT: Erin Owen already has a great following at Laurel Ridge. She teaches how to improve flexibility and balance in this well-rounded, challenging and invigorating class on Mondays at 5:45 pm. Erin is owner of Waynesville Pilates and she charges $12 for members for her class.
BASIC/INTERMEDIATE PILATES: Erin Owen prioritizes safety so this class is very appropriate for low bone density and all levels of fitness. The class is offered Friday mornings at 10:30 am and has a deliberate pace that can be catered to fit each individual’s needs. Cost for Erin’s class is $12 for members.
TRX: This class is a new and different approach to fitness for men and women, also known as Suspension Training, that is safe regardless of age, gender or fitness level. Space is limited to 4 participants per class. Eileen Corbin holds a weekly class on Wednesday mornings at 9 am. Please call Eileen to pre-register, 828-421-8566.
