This summer has come and gone quickly, but the memories shared on the course and in the clubhouse will long be remembered. Most of us still shot relatively low scores, and a few even surprised themselves with some unforgettable plays including three hole-in-ones! New members joined the association and soon learned that the LRMGA is a unique group that not only love golf, but they truly care about each other.
We were pleased to have gotten to play in all the games this summer, including the renowned Hawaiian Shirt Day, Individual and 2–Man Match Play, President’s Cup, season-ending LRMGA Championship plus the other tried-and-true formats. The communication to members was exceptional this year, thanks to the efforts of Brian Boeye, our new President.
Reflecting on the end of another great golf season reminds us to make the most of every day and to enjoy each round, good or bad. After all, even a bad day of golf in these beautiful surroundings is still a good day. We look forward to 2018 and encourage you to play with no regrets and live with gratitude. Long live the LRMGA.
